Fernando Nardi (1975). Hydraulic engineer, PhD in Hydrology, an entrepreneurial professor specializing in geospatial analytics and numerical modelling of water/land systems and hydro-climate risks.

RESEARCH

His scientific interests pertain to water resources and systems, flood risk management, sustainable and smart urban planning. His research outcomes, featured in major international journals, investigate on hydrologic-hydraulic modelling, geospatial information systems and algorithms, Open/Big Data and Citizen Science with specific focus on the development and application of experimental geomorphic and hydraulic algorithms for monitoring, forecasting and mapping flood risk in complex and ungauged urban, rural and coastal ecosystems.
